| Usage | PTFE/FEP dual-wall heat shrink tubing is a high-performance fluoroplastic heat shrinkable sleeve. Its outer layer is made of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), while the inner layer is made of FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) for melt sealing. It is specially designed for wire insulation and sealing protection in high-temperature and strong-corrosion environments. |
| Main features | 1.Excellent temperature resistance:The maximum continuous operating temperature can reach 200℃,and it can withstand even higher temperatures for short periods, far outperforming ordinary heat shrink tubing. 2.Superb sealing performance: When heated, the inner FEP layer melts and flows, tightly wrapping the components after cooling to form a sealing layer that is moisture-proof and chemical corrosion-resistant,protecting the interior even when immersed in liquid. 3.Insulation and chemical resistance:It features extremely high resistivity and dielectric strength, and barely reacts with strong acids, strong alkalis and organic solvents, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments. 4.Special shrinking process:The PTFE outer layer has a relatively high shrinking temperature, usually starting to shrink only when heated to around 330℃.A high-temperature heat gun or oven is required for installation, as ordinary heat guns may not reach sufficient temperatures. |
