| Usage | High-purity PVDF heat shrink tube is designed for professional insulation and protection in demanding environments. To use, first select the appropriate tube size with an unshrunk diameter approximately 20-30% larger than the object to be covered. Clean the surface thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion. Slide the tube into position and apply controlled heat using a heat gun (recommended 120-200°C) or hot air oven, moving the heat source continuously to achieve uniform shrinkage without overheating. The tube will shrink to approximately half its original diameter (2:1 ratio), forming a tight, protective seal. For optimal performance in harsh conditions, ensure complete shrinkage with no wrinkles or gaps. Avoid direct flame contact and work in a well-ventilated area. This tubing is particularly effective for applications requiring UV resistance, chemical protection, or high temperature stability, making it ideal for electrical insulation in aerospace, automotive, and industrial settings where reliability is critical. Always wear appropriate PPE during installation. |
