Paint shops are major sources of industrial VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) emissions, typically containing high concentrations of non-methane hydrocarbons (NMHC), benzene series (BTEX), esters, aldehydes, and ketones, along with high temperatures (40–60°C), high humidity (RH 70–95%), and paint mist particles. Traditional sampling methods face the following issues:

1.Adsorption Interference: Common sampling bags (e.g., PVC, PET) exhibit significant adsorption of polar VOCs (e.g., acetone, butanone), leading to underestimated concentrations.
2.Permeation Loss: Small-molecule hydrocarbons (e.g., ethylene, propylene) easily permeate bag walls, causing data distortion during long-term storage.
3.Particulate Interference: Paint mist may clog sampling lines or contaminate analytical instruments.

To address the challenges of adsorption interference, permeation loss, and particulate contamination in paint shop exhaust gas sampling, we have innovatively developed a Teflon FEP gas sampling bag. This solution features a dual-layer composite structure (0.05mm ultra-thin FEP inner layer with a tear-resistant outer layer), PTFE valves with PP protective housing, and corona-treated inner surfaces to significantly reduce polar VOC adsorption. Integrated with quartz fiber pre-filtration and condensation dehumidification modules, it effectively handles complex exhaust environments with high humidity (RH>90%), high temperature (60℃), and paint mist. The system maintains NMHC sample concentration stability with less than 3% decay over 72 hours, delivering a precise and reliable sampling solution for VOC treatment efficiency evaluation in coating operations.
