| Usage | Mochitek FEP heat shrink tubing is manufactured through a precision two‑step process—first extruded as straight tubing, then radially expanded via secondary blow‑up to create genuine heat‑shrink memory—and is designed for straightforward, reliable field application: simply select the appropriate expanded size based on the required recovered inner diameter, slip the tubing over wire bundles, cable splices, medical catheter components, or any substrate requiring protection or insulation, apply uniform heat using a hot air gun, infrared tunnel, or convection oven within the recommended range of +150°C to +200°C, and observe as the tubing uniformly recovers to its original extruded dimensions, conforming tightly without twisting, wall thinning, or eccentricity; upon cooling to room temperature, the FEP material retains its dimensional stability and mechanical grip permanently, and the tubing can also serve as a temporary holding sleeve in multi‑layer device manufacturing—applied, heated, then cleanly peeled off thanks to FEP’s inherent non‑stick properties—while being fully compatible with automated assembly lines, pre‑cutting, spooling, and custom printing for high‑volume production environments. |
